    Hello! My name is Ashley Holder and I’m the Owner/Trainer at Hold’n On Dog Training. My story is simple, my husband and I have an 11 acre farm located in beautiful Pierson Florida. We have many animals on our farm including horses, goats, chickens and our 11 dogs! Each one serves a different purpose on our property. My passion for working with dogs came shortly after all my children had grown up and moved onto pursue their lives. After being a Mom for so long it was hard to adjust and I began to put that energy towards our dogs and really taking the time to better understand them, which I found so fascinating that I decided to go back to school to study Canine Behavior Sciences. I have also read and followed as many trainers as I could find. Researching information and techniques that work and applying them into a simple program. I had definitely found my calling and have been working with and training dogs since. What I want to get out of this journey is to help families better understand their dogs and be able to pass on simple training steps to make your house a home that includes your dog. Most of the dogs I have been working with are high energy, can’t focus, don’t know how to stay calm and basically driving their owners nuts! I hope that I can help you and your dog onto a new path of understanding and a balanced state of mind.
